Why use a Licensed Coach?
Licensed Coaches have demonstrated both their practical skills and their teaching abilities to the highest level required to achieve their qualification. In addition they have received professional development which has enhanced their abilities to work with children, to assess risks and to deal with safety issues.
Coach Licensing is a kite marked assurance that the coach is qualified at a specified level to teach angling and the associated skills safely.
The Angling Development Board (ADB) - formerly the Joint Angling Development Board (JADB) - is committed to working with all of the bodies associated with angling to ensure that only coaches holding a valid licence will be allowed to operate within the Sport.
