Angling-School

John Brooks has been an angler since his child- hood, starting with coarse angling and then sea angling during summer holidays. Rozy Brooks started fishing more recently, and in 2006 she was 27th in the National Suzuki Boat League, the highest placed lady. Both now regularly fish from the shore and also from their own and other people's boats. They enjoy working with people of all ages and abilities and sharing their passion for angling with them.

Dreamstore Academy has sponsored both John (2006) and Rozy (2007) to attain their Level 2 Certificates in Coaching Sea Angling. Both are experienced teachers and have worked with students with a range of disabilities and special needs.

John and Rozy are members of the National Federation of Sea Anglers, the Cornish Federation of Sea Anglers and are chairman and secretary of their local club. They are passionate about the conservation of fish and their management, and work at a local level to improve fish stocks so there will be more and bigger fish to catch by both recreational sea anglers and commercial fishermen alike. John is also a member of the Conservation Group of the NFSA.
